Celebrating 10 years since The Original Marbled Card Collection

The original collection in 2014 was born from an exploration of dyes, ink separation and traditional crafts. I looked into Batik, tie dye and marbling and created a range of original patterns that I then applied to gift wrap, greeting cards, gift tags and notebooks in a range of colours. It was a fun collection to make, and it's subsequent success at opening doors into previously untapped stores was exciting as a new brand. We then collaborated with the the world's leading luxury department store Harrods in a range of marbled cards with gold monogrammed alphabet initials. It was a very sophisticated spin off collection and a joy to create.

2024 marks 10 years since we launched our original marble collection, and the first marbled stationery on the market.

The collection was a huge success and helped grow our business across the world, so we wanted to mark the anniversary and celebrate it with a new range of greeting cards.

It has been a lovely collection to design as I was able to reminisce about the original range, revisit old designs and honour a collection that put us at the forefront of UK stationery design.

This year, to mark the occasion, we wanted to create an anniversary collection with that same opulence, but coupled with a reflection of how the brand has grown and developed over the years. The new 2024 marbled cards have been designed in a shape inspired by vintage perfume bottles and the art deco era in design and marketing. The gold greetings, the soft corners and the rich colours evoke a sense of vintage luxury that we hope will be as popular as its origin collection. You can see the full range here - I hope you like them as much as I loved creating the anniversary collection.
