The SS23 collection also see's a mix of the geometric prints coupled alongside the more playful illustrative tigers and plants have been developing alongside each other for some time.
Drawing inspiration from our original Black & white print designs that we have been producing across our products for some time now, and reinventing them with more refined detail, simple repeats and a complimenting mix of fine and bold mark making. It’s been one of our classic, signature collections for a number of years so I felt it was time to update it in a way that felt fresh, modern and true to our brand.
The more playful illustrations including the plants, dancing tiger print and our ‘good day’ suns are an evolution of our original wildlife collection. The plants were created using charcoal medium which allows for more figurative, playful style.
Coupled alongside the tigers and sun they create an arm of the collection that is less rigid and ideal for the spring summer season.
I’ve taken each print and in some cases edited the colour and scale to ensure it works on for each of the product. The overall feeling I aim to achieve from our SS23 collection is that of warmth, meaningful connection and craftsmanship.

Our latest collection sees the launch of lots of new products to kick-start the Spring season.
For the Katie Leamon SS23 Collection we have introduced new cards across all occasions, fresh cover designs on our best-selling notebooks and added a further 6 designs to our double sided gift wrap range.
The collection champions our love of playful illustration, simple geometrics and graphic typography design while maintaining much of our signature soft monochrome palette and spring pastels.
Our SS23 Collection is a culmination of a few collections I had been working on for some time. They all draw on previous patterns and pieces in our existing collection while aiming to re-love and re-invent some of our best loved designs.
Our original lay flat notebooks were looking a little tired, but I still loved the plain colour block design. So I decided to simply update them; adding small details inspired by vintage perfume bottles with signature scents. The small text at the footer of the book, the scripted font on the cover and the new layout of the text box all aim to add a renewed value and integral importance to the books. Its these details that make the collection so special to me. The choice of colours was a little easier, opting for signature pinks, soft hues and simple monochrome.
