Q. Tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I come from an entrepreneurial family and have always known I would one day want my own business. After completing a business degree I decided to enter the corporate world to get as much business experience as I could. In 2011, I was working in a consultancy role and despite working for a great company and with great clients, I felt totally uninspired and knew it was time to quit my job and pursue my dream of opening my own store.

Q. Tell us a bit about your store and why you opened it?

HAYGEN is a lifestyle store selling on trend Home, Fashion & Lifestyle products carefully curated from influential brands. I have always been passionate about both Fashion and Interiors and inspired by stores like Anthropogie and Avoca (in Ireland) where they combine mix of both. I knew this business model was perfect for me as it allowed me to curate a mix of both my favorite things in one space.

Q. What has been the best moment in your stores life so far?

Winning a Timeout Award for being a best shop in London and the best in Islington.

Q. What is one item you can’t live without?

Sadly its my iphone. I've recently had identical twin boys and need to work a lot on the go. My iphone helps me keep the shop going while I'm not able to get into the office or the shop.
