Q. Tell us a bit about your background and why you opened your store?
I always loved the idea of running my own business, the freedom it would give me and the ability to be as creative as I liked. I worked as a Saturday girl in the old 'Indian Summer' and when the previous owner decided to sell and I saw an opportunity to make the shop which was then selling beautiful Indian rugs and furniture into something completely different and much more 'me'. I really wanted to create a lifestyle store that was colourful and fun, somewhere you wanted to visit as you never knew what you were going to find.

Q. Is there a story behind your stores name?
Indian Summer was a name that came with the shop when I bought it but I really do love it and I think it fits so well with what the shop has become. We are so colourful and defiantly have quite a 'beachy vibe' I could easily imagine our store on a beach in Goa! Indian Summer is the shops name but to most locals we're the 'Pink Shop' as our shop front is pink (and covered in an amazing murals) and really does stand out!
Q. What is one item you can't live without?
Mmm tricky, sadly I probably say my phone as I really do run my life from it! Then I would say coffee!

I think I first met the lovely Katie Leamon at Top Drawer trade show and instantly loved her and her beautiful cards!
Q. What is your favourite Katie Leamon Product?
I always love when some a friend gets engaged as I can give them my all time favourite card, it started with a kiss. Its adorable!
Q. What has been the best moment in your stores life so far?
We've just celebrated turning 14, which I still can't believe. We had a party and it was such a lovely day with all our lovely customers coming into say how much they loved the shop and how much they thought it meant to the area which was really special. I feel very proud of what the shop has become and how loved it is. Here's to the next 14 years!
