To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I think it not only captures a wonderful dynamic within a family but deals with real issues beautifully told through the innocent eyes of a child.
My favourite children's book would have to be The Jolly Postman. I love the fact it’s so tangible and interactive - I used to get so excited reading it as a kid and opening all the envelopes up!

Its a novel but historically correct, and an amazing history of Ireland from prehistoric to the present day. It explained to me why northern & southern Ireland are in the situation they are in today and so so much more. Everyone should read it, it's fantastic and much more than a history book. Loved it.

My choice is a children's book. It's Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. When I read it as a child I was Jo (one of the four sisters) Or thought I was!
