One cold, sunny weekend in March saw our first ever Stationery Printing Workshop take place at the breathtaking Middleton Lodge, a Georgian country retreat in North Yorkshire.

As one of our stockists, we got talking to the team about the possibility of running a stationery workshop, something we’ve had in our sights for some time but have never found the right time or place. However, after seeing the location and event spaces on offer at Middleton Lodge, we couldn’t say no.

After an expert introduction from Katie with an insight into how the brand started and the techniques used to create our luxury stationery, the workshop began with a masterclass on the Adana print press and the hot foil letterpress, as well as sessions using our hand printing stamps and other tools used in our printing process. Participants were then guided through packaging their hand printed cards, personalised letter writing paper, post cards and gold foil notecards in true Katie Leamon style, where attention to detail is key.
